“After my first birth and not having the knowledge I needed going into that cesarean, I knew I wanted something different for my second. From the very first weeks, Jisayah supported me mentally and spiritually, and her herbal guidance helped me through everything from morning sickness to fatigue and headaches.

She backed my wish for a VBAC and helped me stand firm when talks of a “big baby” came up. When I got Covid at 37 weeks and was overwhelmed with anxiety, she was available day and night with facts, affirmations, and a calm that’s truly unique to her.

Right before labor, she helped me release fear, guided me through movements to open my hips, and showed my husband how to support me with natural pain relief.

My labor didn’t go as planned and ended in a repeat C-section after I became septic. My husband and Jisayah were my only support during my extended hospital stay and difficult recovery. She supported me spiritually, mentally, and physically, visiting me every single day I was in the hospital.

She helped me get through each day when my husband had to be in and out of the NICU, and I honestly don’t know where I would be mentally, emotionally, or spiritually without her care and love. She stayed by my side through everything, and because of that—although my physical recovery took longer—my emotional and spiritual strength returned. I could be present for the beautiful days with my newborn and my family.

I’ll never forget the love and care she gave me, and I will always be grateful. The magic Jisayah brings to women, pregnant or not, isn’t just about being a doula—it’s something rooted deep within her. I will endlessly recommend her as a doula, birth keeper, and herbalist to any woman needing support.”
